Worth is calculated at the same prices you would pay in the gallery: digitals at £10, 5×7 prints at £2.50, 10×8 prints at £6.00, fine art 10×8 at £19.50. Extra prints and digitals can be added at any time. Business work is quoted individually, since price depends on the shoot length, the number of finished images and how widely you need to use them.

A 45 minute session with 15 to 20 finished images in your gallery, and nothing included beyond that. Perfect if you want the experience first and would rather decide about prints and digitals once you have seen the pictures. Digitals from £10, prints from £1.50.
Bronze
Mini shoot · £75Short and sweet, and perfect for capturing a candid moment with the whole family. You will walk away with a handful of gorgeous edited images, digital downloads to keep and share, plus some prints ready to pop in a frame.
Silver
Full shoot · £130A full family session with plenty of time to relax, connect, and have some fun in front of the lens. You will receive a generous gallery of edited images, a good number of free digitals, and a lovely set of prints to display around your home.

Your digitals are yours, and you are welcome to print them anywhere you like. What you get here is colour managed printing on archival stock, matched to how the image was edited, with nothing to set up and nothing to guess at.

This takes about three minutes. Nothing is confirmed until we have spoken, so answer what you can and leave the rest to the consultation.
The things everyone asks.
Can I just print the digitals myself?
Yes, and you should if you want to. Your digitals come with full rights to print and share, so there is nothing stopping you popping them on a high street machine. What you get by ordering here is a lab print on archival paper, colour matched to the edit, with no cropping surprises. Small prints cost pennies more. Large ones and fine art papers are where the difference really shows.
What should we wear?
Wear what you would actually wear. The pictures date badly when everyone is in something bought for the occasion and nobody looks quite like themselves.
A few things that genuinely help: pick two or three soft colours and let everyone work within them, rather than matching exactly. Creams, sage, denim, dusty pinks and warm greys all sit well against fields and woodland. Avoid big logos, slogans and tight stripes or small checks, which can shimmer oddly in the camera. Layers are useful because a cardigan or a jacket changes the look halfway through without anyone getting changed.
Comfort matters more than any of that, especially for the children. If a dress is itchy or the shoes are new, it will show on their faces in every frame. Bring wellies, we will almost certainly end up somewhere muddy, and a hairbrush for the walk back from the car.

What if my children will not cooperate?
They will not, and that is entirely fine. The best images almost never come from a child sitting still. We walk, we play, we let them be four years old, and I photograph what actually happens. If someone needs a snack and a sulk halfway through, we take a break.
What happens if it rains?
Light drizzle and moody skies are often lovely to shoot in. If the weather is genuinely against us we move the session to another date at no charge. I will be in touch the day before if it is looking doubtful.
How long until I see the photographs?
Your private gallery arrives within ten working days of the shoot. Digitals are delivered immediately once ordered, and prints are posted directly to you.
How long do I have to order?
Your gallery stays open for at least three months. If you need longer, just ask.
Do I have to be in the photographs?
No, but this is rather the point. Most families arrive with a thousand pictures of the children and almost none with both parents in the frame. Being in the picture is what these sessions are for.
